This is Crohn's Awareness Week so I am lobbying MPs to get more knowledge of this awful disease and to make the Government put more funding and help the NHS so that other loved ones like you don't suffer 💙

I miss your sense of humour Alisdair, your very infectious laugh which ended up in me just laughing at your laugh. I have so many memories of you being doubled up with laughter. Never forget those Son I love you so much. X

You are not going to like this Alisdair but people who have seen the photo of us together when you ran the half marathon all say you are my double. Told you you wouldn't like it. I can hear you now saying "Rubbish I look like me". X

I talk to your picture all the time Son, I go to phone or text you about something happening in my life, then I remember. I will keep talking, remembering and loving you.x

When Alisdair was at high school I taught him to type like a typist. Although he thought he wouldn't need it he became proficient. At work his Boss saw him typing and asked who taught him to type. He answered my Mum, the Boss asked if I was fast, without thinking he said "Fast as F***". He was horrified but his Boss thought it was hilarious. We laughed so much about it.

My beautiful Son you will always be a part of me, nothing can change that. I am so lucky to have been your Mum. XX

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
